This is one remake that fans are getting behind as the production team, NetherRealm Studios is taking the franchise back to it's 2D roots. Show of hands, who enjoyed the previous "Mortal Kombat" movies? We're no doubt left with a sea of people sitting on their hands. Trust us, we feel your pain and if they are going to reboot a franchise "Mortal Kombat" is one that needs it ten fold....
First off, let us say we love ourselves some Mortal Kombat! Anyone old enough to have experienced the first truly mature rated game to push the fine line between taste and tasteless must appreciates the series. Lets face it, what self respecting horror fan doesn't enjoy seeing a masked fighter tear another person's head off with their spine dangling down, blood squirting everywhere? For gawd's sake FINISH HIM! Sorry, got a little excited there....
