 Well "game over" in our best Jigsaw voice. The nail is finally in the coffin and boy we can't imagine how great Saw VII 3D (hmmm a film in 3D? It'll never work!) is going to turn out now that they've contractually forced a director to do a film he so clearly does not want to be a part of.  The battle over director Kevin Greutert of the Saw VI fame got nasty last night (CLICK HERE) when Twisted Pictures and Lionsgate announced that they were not letting Greutert out of his contract to direct Paranormal Activty 2. We showed you the original ending to PARANORMAL ACTIVITY months ago and now that the DVD/Blu-Ray has released we have our hands on the rare suicide ending that was only viewed once at a horror convention film festival.  Can you honestly sit there and say that you're surprised? Of course not. The most profitable film in cinema history is bound to have a sequel but it's not a question of if, it's a question of when.  This is just inspiring. Yahoo reports that a little film called Paranormal Activity, made for only $11,000, just became the most profitable movie ever! After reaching $65.1 million Wednesday P.A. took the thrown. What an uplifting experience this is for independent filmmakers everywhere and what about the horror genre? Still think we're a joke? Many of you have weighed in on which version you prefer and surprisingly or maybe not surprisingly the "original" directors cut seems to hold up a bit better than the theatrical version. With a shoe string budget and a marketing campaign that mirrored the monster hit The Blair Witch Project, the little movie that could did! However, mystery surrounded the original ending.  This may not be a shocker to most of us but the LA Times spoke with Paramount Chairman Brad Grey today, who said, "We have the rights on a worldwide basis to do 'Paranormal 2' and we're looking to see if that makes some sense." Grey believes the original is on track to gross more than $100 million domestically. That would make it the most profitable film for Paramount since he took over in 2005 and, quite possibly, in the studio's history....

 Early box office estimates are in and according to Deadline Hollywood, Paranormal Activity scored an estimated 7.5M on Friday despite being in about 1,100 less theaters than SAW VI, which took in an estimated 6.9M....
