One thing we love to do around here is laugh and if this doesn't put a smile on your face nothing will. We've all seen Freddy Krueger pull off some crazy stunts in the dreamworld but nothing will prepare you for this. WARNING: Viewing this WILL cause Nightmares...
After last night's lukewarm reception of the new official Nightmare poster/banner (deemed Smooth Criminal, click here) we set out and searched for some of the best fan-made Elm Street posters. With just a little over 2 months away until the release of the highly anticipate remake fans are busy paying homage to the one and only Freddy Krueger and these posters show off some kick ass work...
No, that isn't Michael Jackson striking a pose (although we have a feeling this poster will be compared to the late pop singer as it spreads). It's Jackie Early Haley as everyone's favorite dream stalking child molester Fred Krueger. We've seen trickles of various images from the remake but the latest is a silhouette poster/banner featuring not just Freddy but Nancy as well...
In Romero's sixth Dead outing survivors of a zombie apocalypse find shelter on an island only to find there is no escape from the undead. This is the film Romero fans have been grasping for as it really holds true to his what he does best. The bottom line is George A. Romero's 'Survival of the Dead' shows that you can't keep a good man down. And now we have an official release date...
The Nightmare is back on Elm Street! After nearly a year from the time this project was announced and the first teaser poster was shown, we finally have our official one sheet poster for Platinum Dunes brand new reboot of 'A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET'. Freddy's coming to get us all April 30th the question is, are you ready?...
We are treated to the first official trailer and one sheet poster for the upcoming horror/thriller 'Suicide Girls Must Die'. It's pretty much exactly what it sounds like it would be. A bunch of sexy, mostly naked Suicide Girls retreat to a cabin in the woods for a weekend of photo-shoots and jello shots only to be interrupted by a mysterious rash of murder. Sounds like a typical Bidite weekend, doesn't it?...
It's Wolf Week here at Horrorbid.com so we'll kick things off with these two incredible posters that were made for Alamo Drafthouse showings of Universal's classic The Wolf Man and the remake The Wolfman. Just when you thought the avalanche of Wolfman posters had finally come to an end right? Still, these are vastly different than what you're use to seeing and you would be missing out if you didn't read more to get a better look.
Ok, couple of things here. If you've seen the trailer for Warner Bros. Pictures epic CLASH OF THE TITANS remake then you've heard Liam Neeson in his best Zeus voice proclaim "release the Kraken!" That has now become the official joke around the office for something unmentionable and it simply has to stop! The other thing is this set of new posters we were just sent. One word, cool!...
Most of you will look at this new ALL ABOUT EVIL poster and not recognize the face behind it. The new dark comedy features the Mistress of the Dark herself, the one and only Elvira aka 'Cassandra Peterson'. It's great to see Cassandra get the attention she deserves sans the makeup that has made her so famous...
In REPO MEN, humans have extended and improved our lives through highly sophisticated and expensive mechanical organs created by a company called The Union. The dark side of these medical breakthroughs is that if you don’t pay your bill, The Union sends its highly skilled repo men to take back its property… with no concern for your comfort or survival...
One thing that has been a constant through all the madness that has taken place with the production on Universal's THE WOLFMAN is promotion. And the biggest part of that has taken place with variation after variation of THE WOLFMAN poster. We have seen American versions, French versions, more American versions and on and on. Finally we get our last official poster before the films release...
170,00 sq miles of desert. 90 minutes of oxygen. No way out. Oh yeah!!! Now that's a tag line. Starring Ryan Reynolds, this revised official poster of Rodrigo Cortes’ horror indie film Buried has us hyped up for a huge dose of claustrophobia! Not really sure how a guy buried is going to hold my attention for an hour and a half but the premise is so appealing I'll give it a shot. Read more for the poster.
The most recent entry in the vamp sub-genre, Daybreakers, hit theaters weeks ago yet we are still getting another poster and you know what? This one is the bomb baby! Maybe it being international is the reason we are just now seeing it but it's hands down better than the others. It kind of has a little throw back Bram Stokers style if you catch my drift. Read more to check it out.
Now this has to be one of the coolest things we've seen in awhile and being a horror collecting site this is something we'd love to see more of. The legendary American illustrator Basil Gogos (most notably "Famous Monsters of Filmland") was commissioned by Universal Studios to hand paint a new poster to celebrate the rebirth of THE WOLFMAN franchise. Needless to say, he knocked it out of the park...
Overture films cuts straight to the chase giving us creepy and dark tones with their advertising, not just the trailers for the George A. Romero remake but the new one sheet posters as well. After the slow build for this movie we are more than excited to see the finally product and these posters have us knowing at the bit for the February 26th release date...
Our friends behind YellowBrickRoad were nice enough to send us their official poster just in time for the Slamdance film festival! We reported on YellowBrickRoad a few months ago and it is one of our most anticipated indie films of the year. Wizard of Oz fans this may not be the road your thinking about, this road leads you to someplace much more twisted than Oz...
We confirmed the release date for the American remake of LET THE RIGHT ONE IN earlier in the week and today we are treated to a new poster. Special thanks to HorrorBid member 'Brandywine' for sending this to us. We are unsure if this is an official poster or fan made, either way it has us excited to see if this film can live up to the original....
The Butcher Brothers' next bloody offering to the horror genre will be THE VIOLENT KIND and we just got our dirty paws on the new one sheet for this crazy flick. This poster has a killer old school look to it and one that has our blood pumping to see at this years Sundance film festival....
Here's an idea! How about a Hillbilly horror movie told from the other perspective? That's what we're getting in this Canadian horror comedy Tucker & Dale vs. Evil that was selected to show at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. Through completely wacked out scenarios, Tucker and Dale (two hillbillies from West Virginia), are mistaken as crazed killer mountain men when a group of college kids invade their scenic hideaway. Read more to watch the trailer.
Now that's a motto to live by this day in age. We've got a bloody fresh new poster for THE CRAZIES remake, due out February 26, 2010 just in time for the crazy season. Based on George Romero’s film of the same name, the remake finds the military invading a small town in an attempt to contain a killer man-made virus that causes death and permanent insanity....
