Coming straight from Sony is a few brand new images of RESIDENT EVIL 3D that shows us why this film may be the best in the series. Along with the 3D gimmick the series is hoping that this fourth installment will reunite fans who have may not have witnessed the "in-between" films from the game based franchise...












Ok, so I'm not an over zealous RESIDENT EVIL movie fan that waits on bated breath for every new installment to come out. That I can admit. However after seeing this new clip that we've been shown today I have to say I am more excited now then I have ever been. From constant slow motion action and ass kicking music to literally more zombies physically on screen then I've ever seen before I have to give it to the crew on this film. It looks like it may be a zombie killing good time...

With movies based on video games often hit or miss (see: Prince of Persia's horrific opening numbers) it's nice to see one franchise that at least still puts butts in the seats. Although many would say the series lost it's video game roots years ago (did it every have them?) at least this latest installment looks palatable...
Except this time it’s been moved ahead, meaning it’ll be opening in theaters everywhere (possibly in 3D) September 10 instead of September 24 as originally expected. This doesn’t mean a whole lot to most of you out there, but it does mean we get to write about it...
