SyFy and After Dark are making quite the team. They premiered HUSK, which was met with great success. So I guess they figured they’d keep showing the After Dark flicks on their Saturday Night premieres. They are a great substitute for the SyFy pictures originals that deal with the combining of two animals into one. The latest one is 51, which is set to premiere on the network this Saturday, February 26th....

Crawling from the grave today is news that Glen Mazzara is the first on board as writing executive producer for THE WALKING DEAD: SEASON 2. Mazzara wrote the fifth episode for Season 1 and will now be Frank Darabont's number 2 man on a staff of about five writers...

Looking back at a lot of things from our childhood we realize things were more demented than they seemed. The fact that Hanzel & Grettal were going to be cooked & eaten, The Wolf in Little Red Riding Hood eats Grandma and then gets slaughtered! For a kid, I could see it being very terrifying! I guess that’s what turned some of us on to horror years later!...
The American viewers LOVE anything paranormal. You can tell from the amount of specials and short lived series that anything that has to deal with ghosts, bigfoot, or aliens is here to stay. The Discovery channel has had its fair share of things that go bump in the night, thanks to its successful series, A HAUNTING. Now they hope for that same success with a much more demonic series....
