He said he'd be back and he is. Wow, that was a terrible joke there...Anyway, this batch of TERMINATOR figure pics should get rid of the bad taste that joke left in your mouth. Granted, some of these are still awaiting approval so it may be a while before any Bidites get to add them to the toy shelf so we'll just have to enjoy the images until then....

This came out of left field as far as companies go. In a late night bidding war, the film rights to the “Terminator” franchise was sold to Pacificor, of all companies for 29.5 million, out bidding both Sony and Lionsgate. The previous owner, Halcyon Holding Corp will get 5 million for every new “Terminator” film and they will get to continue to milk the revenues from Terminator 3 and 4. Terminator 4 (Salvation) made over 350 million worldwide...

Sony Pictures has thrown its name into the “We want to own the Terminator hat”. Artisan back in the day was the first studio to own the franchise, followed by Lionsgate, then recently Warner Bros. With a solid foreign box office intake, the film – Terminator Salvation - did okay during its American summer box office run last summer, but sold like hotcakes on DVD and Blu-ray...

Yep, the Governator's cameo appearance in the upcoming Terminator: Salvation flick that opens everywhere this Thursday has now been confirmed by a Korean site nocutnews. It's obviously CGI but doesn't look too shabby if you ask this Terminator fan.

One of my fanboy dreams is coming true. A shirt featuring 4 of the craziest villains to ever hit the big screen including Freddy, Predator, a T-800 Terminator, and Darth Vader as the four horsemen of the Apocalypse! This gold ink t-shirt was designed by Japanese-born artist Jimiyo, for the Back in Black 2 t-shirt exhibit. Apparently it’s a limited edition print, and will only be available for the month of May.

Legacy Effects and Sideshow Collectibles have joined forces to produce a Life-Size Bust of the new T-600 from Terminator Salvation. The bust is 22 inches tall, 20 inches wide, 14 inches deep and weighs approximately 25 pounds. The item is now available for preorder for $749.99 and expected to ship in the first quarter of 2010. Several different companies are on the Terminator bandwagon; Hot Toys, Playmates, Neca and DC Direct. Some of these collectibles are worthy of a top spot in your collection while others are mediocre and yet still others would look better in your garbage.
