The Many Faces of Vincent Price - A Tribute to a True Horror Icon!
I've spent more than a few days trying to come up with a great idea for an article on a man that many people would instantly recognize as the face of horror, Vincent Price. Before I was even old enough to have watched my first horror film I knew who he was and I knew what he represented. Mr. Price would have turned 100 years old this May and it is only fitting that we here at HorrorBid take a look back at the late, great man who helped solidify this great genre we all love...

The rumor hounds have been buzzing for months now about this video because of it's risqué nature. Having seen it now we can see why they have been buzzing. It was directed by John Landis (An American Werewolf in London), featured insanely sick looking zombie effects, had a Vincent Price voiceover and single handedly put music videos and the world of horror in the mainstream...
Karloff's classic horror television series "Thriller" is finally making its way to DVD courtesy of Image Entertainment and we couldn't be happier. All 67 episodes will be transferred to a 14 DVD box set due out August 3rd...

With the recent news of Michael Jackson's unexpected death we are looking back at one mask in particular that pays tribute to the famed Thriller video. In a single music video Jackson transformed many of us into horror fans and transformed himself into this wolf/cat like creature that left a lasting impression on the music and horror community alike.
Say what you will about the King of Pop (and there's a lot to say, good and bad) but HorrorBid will always remember M.J. for calling John Landis and making the short film "Thriller" happen. No doubt you've heard that Michael Jackson passed away today at the age of 50 due to cardiac arrest.
