"Terrible things Lawrence, you've done terrible things". said in a voice that only Sir Anthony Hopkins could mutter. Even with an all star cast this is a movie that can't seem to put all the puzzle together. THE WOLFMAN was at the best visually striking, however due to poor writing by two fairly good writers, David Self(Road to Perdition) and Andrew Kevin Walker(Se7en), it falls flat. We cannot say enough how important the use of music is in films. Since the silent era, movies have always been accompanied by the siren medium of music. Scores are in many ways a character unto themselves that guide the viewer's interpretation subconsciously. Coming from the dark side of film we horror nuts know how key music can be so read more and listen to a sample of The Wolfman score.
