This film was already in talks before PA was ever put onto paper. The 1st BW was a classic. If the original 2 director's came back for this one, i'm sure it would have alot more thought and creativity to it then the sequal did. I'm all for it.

Comments about a film that "you" have not seen, much less on a film that has not even been written yet are pretty useless.

I adored the first "Blair Witch" movie and I also loved the second "Blair Witch" movie also. I have been wanting a sequel for such a long time and think it's a great idea. The creators of "The Blair Witch Project" have been wanting to create a sequel since before anyone even heard of "Paranormal Activity" and Lion's Gate turned them down, so I think it is a great idea for them to make a sequel now and they could not have possibly picked a better time.

Well the way I see it... I don't think a sequel would be very profitable. I don't think that doing it all hand held would be profitable either. I think if they did a Prequel and bring in all the characters mentioned in the first Blair Witch like Old man Mr. Par... I think if they shoot the film in an environment like Tim Burton did "Sleepy Hollow" and make the film about how the kids came up missing and all that other good stuff it would make for an Ecellent scary ass film... Thats just my opinion... Doing it hand held again would be pointless... It's like the film Jaws in a way... In the sequal they Always showed the shark because they knew that they could never recapture what the orinal did when he made his first apearance. If that makes any sense...
I think for this movie to be profitable, it's going to require a decent budget, The whole detailed creepy back story to the Blair Witch. Pretty much start it out with the birth of this bitch...
Maybe I am talking out my ass here, but I don't see any other way it would be good, unless it really pulled you in with a fantastic detailed back story and then with kids just comming up missing and the towns people out looking for there kids with torches and what not... Could be VERY good...
