Meet The Future of Video Game Technology - KARA "AI" Demo

New postby Shakelford, J. Rusty » Sun May 06, 2012 9:35 am

Kara is a visually stunning tech demo telling the tale of a female android being constructed, and you watch her production line birth in a fashion that evokes both Will Smith's I, Robot and the Star Trek Borg queen.
CVG attended the presentation at GDC today to bring you a detailed report on what was shown, and you should check it out through that link.

Now, you can also see the demo that was presented below in a video that also features a few words with Cage.

Oh how I wish this was an actual game! Heavy Rain was such an awesome game IMO, and I can't wait to see what Quantic Dream has in store for the PS3 in the future. The sick thing about this video is that it was made over a year ago when QD's new engine that uses new motion capture technology was in its early build. So can you imagine how stunning the graphics will look once the engine is fully developed?

New Captain Scarlet series, back in 2005, used motion capture technology. That was fantastic!!
To see what Quantic Dream can do for video games in the end would be brilliant!! :ME LIKES:
