Who Is Ready For Some CREATURE? Terror Has Teeth!

CREATURE starring Sid Haig, Mehcad Brooks and Serinda Swan is a cool looking upcoming film that, to my knowledge, we haven't discussed yet here on the site. I have been following the film for sometime via the dirt sheets and it continues to impress me each and every time I witness a new clip or read a new interview.

The film is based on a novel written by Fred M. Andrews and Tracy Morse and is set in the Louisiana Bayou, where a bunch of friends discover a local legend and are in the fight for survival. Now you're thinking to yourself HATCHET, right? Well, yes that is what I thought at first but after learning a bit more their are several noticable difference as this film is played much more serious. Check out the poster and a few clips and trailers below.

Look for CREATURE to hit theaters (I am assuming in a limited theatrical release) on September 9th, although I can find nothing saying that it is just in fact a limited release. The magic 8 ball however tells me that this will probably be just that and then quickly moved to the DVD/Blu-ray bin. Either way, it looks like an interesting film and one that I am eager to witness.

I really want to see this also but it isn't playing near me either. And the poster says in "theaters everywhere". That's a damn shame!
