The Caller, Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, Julia's Eyes and Grave Encounters Land On Demand Today

It’s a huge day for On-Demand horror releases, as four of the years most anticipated independent releases hit the entertainment outlet today. Whether you’re looking for dark straight forward scares, blood, guts and a hefty load of laughs, or the latest found footage feature to crawl into the mainstream, you’ll find it all courtesy of your friendly neighborhood cable provider!

IFC Midnight offers forth an advance look at the Guillermo del Toro produced chiller, Julia’s Eyes. The film follows a grieving woman who’s gradually losing her eyesight as she desperately attempts to track down her sister’s killer.

The film stars Belén Rueda, Lluís Homar and Pablo Derqui. Guillem Morales, who sat in the driver’s seat for the oft overlooked 2004 effort, The Uncertain Guest directs the picture. Check it out now for the reasonable price of $6.99!

Tribeca Film brings us a new take on the rapidly aging found footage format with the highly praised shocker, Grave Encounters. The story revolves around the crew of a ghost hunting reality show who venture into the long abandoned Collingwood Psychiatric Hospital, where things go bump in the night.

The Vicious Brothers bring us this acclaimed tale of paranormal madness, which stars Sean Rogerson, Juan Riedinger and Ashleigh Gryzko. You can tune into Grave Encounters for $6.99.

The Caller arrives today On Demand as well as in limited theatres. The picture hearkens back to the age old sinister caller urban legend, but throws in a few creepy twists to keep the story contemporary.

The relatively inexperienced Matthew Parkhill directs the film; which boasts an impressive cast that includes Stephen Moyer, Rachelle Lefevre and Luis Guzmán. Phone in now for only $6.99!

Rounding out today’s On-Demand horror additions is the critically acclaimed horror comedy, Tucker & Dale Vs. Evil. The film centers on a group of traveling youngsters who opt to party hard in the Southern rural countryside. After spotting Tucker and Dale, our “protagonists” prove their ignorance by leaping to conclusions; deciding that they’re dealing with a couple of lunatic rednecks. What ensues is virtual suicide, as one by one this group of imbeciles manages to kill themselves in an erroneous effort to “save” one of their own.

Eli Craig directs this outlandish comedy that features onscreen performances from Tyler Labine, Alan Tudyk, Jesse Moss and Katrina Bowden. Check out this highly praised flick now for $9.99!
