Watch Out For PITCHFORK!! - 'HAYRIDE' set for 2012 release

Written and directed by Terron R. Parsons and starring Richard Tyson (Black Hawk Down, There's Something About Mary, and Kindergarten Cop), Corlandos Scott, and JD Evermore (Walk the Line and The Mechanic), HAYRIDE is scheduled to begin filming in October with a release date set for early 2012.

The movie is about a college student who returns home to southern Alabama to attend his uncle's annual haunted hayride. Unaware that an escaped killer is on the loose, Steven will soon face the real life embodiment of "Pitchfork", a character created for the hayride.

Filming will take place in the Fairhope, Alabama area and there is currently an open casting call. The production team has begun a fundraising campaign to cover post-production costs via http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/127 ... hard-tyson, which also has a video showing a few scenes and a short interview with the director. Fans of the horror genre can pledge funds in exchange for rewards ranging from a special thanks in the credits, set visits, and even an Executive Producer credit.
