Yes two "rasslin" stories in a row here on HorrorBid. Former ECW champion Shane Douglas will be starring in and helping producing a movie titled "Zombies vs. Wrestlers" (working title) that will have a live filming this Saturday at the West Newton Gymnasium in Pennsylvania starting at 4:00 p.m. The filming will precede a live wrestling show promoted by Renegade Wrestling Alliance. The movie's director, Cody Knotts, says the movie is designed to be a
"serious horror film" and not a satire, and he hopes a studio will pick up the project to continue filming more scenes.
Serious horror film with wrestlers involved? Sure it can happen but will it? Definitely one that we will continue to cover as this could turn into one of the campiest horror movies to day and a straight cross appeal to us wrestling fans. Stay tuned as more information will be announced soon.
