Finally, Some Decent Zombie-Specific Ammo For The Inevitable Zombie Apocalypse

New postby BooMan » Sun Oct 16, 2011 12:27 am

Why hasn't the government been working on this? I mean, it's inevitable that the dead will rise from the ground one day to feast on our flesh and when this happens we're going to need to be prepared. Sure, you may have a gun cabinet or safe loaed to the brim with regular ammo but is that really enough? Of course not! Which is why the guys at Hornady have been working countless hours to hone in on the very best in zombie destroying ammunition.

Below is their official press release which talks about zombie themed shoots at varios gun ranges, but we all know this is being made for the real deal, the day when the dead will walk the earth. I mean, what else are we supposed to believe. There is even a video below that is a "must watch".

"With the flood of Zombie Targets and shooting events now with Zombie themes, Hornady Manufacturing felt the ONLY ammo worth using was Certified Zombie Ammunition. Hornady has placed it's own special "Z-Max" Glowing Green Tipped Bullet in a variety of zombie shooting calibers. Hornady estimates shipping all calibers minus the 12ga around Oct 31st, 2011. Have no doubt, this is not a toy! This is live ammunition!"

These are great! I'm going to have to order a few boxes just for the novelty of it. If you like this, check out the new line of ZK (Zombie Killer) knives from Ka-Bar. I've got a few of these on the way myself now. This link has the best pictures I could find online, but Amazon has the best prices: http://www.gpknives.com/kabarzombiekillers.html.

While the upcoming zombie apocalypse seems like a catastrophic tragedy, in reality it's a wonderful tool for marketing. I myself have a couple of products I plan to launch...

First up are Zombie Bunkers, they'll be made out of used shipping containers containing several useful features. They shall be impervious to the oncoming zombie hoard, contain "firing slots" in strategic locations, and several bunkers can be welded together if you're one of those fancy people that have "friends". Also given the amount of used containers, this is a very green option for the eco-survivalist. "Save the planet while saving your @$$"

Next up is a line of zombie cologne and perfume... not much explanation going into this one. "Smell like you're already dead!"

And the cross-marketing ideas are off the chart! I could put in a special ammo room with shelves designed for zombie ammo... I'm going to be the richest man in the post-apocalyptic world!
