He's Sick, He's Menacing & He Wants To Collect You! Here's Our 1st Peek At The Collection

In 2009 The Collector debuted, and quickly a new face in horror emerged. Ever since that time fans have been eagerly anticipating the release of The Collection which began shooting in the end of 2010. Over a year and half later, we are finally starting to receive some uplifting news. First we got wind from co-writer Patrick Melton that a trailer for the long awaited sequel is expected to hit later in the year with a late fall/early winter theatrical film release planned. And now we get our very first look from the film which features the sick and twisted fuck known as "the Collector."

In the film, which is currently screening at the Cannes festival, Arkin (Josh Stewart) escapes with his life from the vicious grips of “The Collector” during an entrapment party where he adds beautiful Elena to his “Collection.” Instead of recovering from the trauma, Arkin is suddenly abducted from the hospital by mercenaries hired by Elena’s wealthy father. Arkin is blackmailed to team up with the mercenaries and track down The Collector’s booby trapped hide out and save Elena from his sadistic rituals.

Josh Stewart, Lee Tergesen, Christopher McDonald, Johnny Yong Bosch, Emma Fitzpatrick, Shannon Kane, Tim Griffin, William Peltz, Eaddy Mays, Michael Nardelli, Justin Mortelliti, Michael H. Cole, Arloa Reston and Courtney Lauren Cumming star in the Marcus Dunstan-directed sequel.
