The Remake Of 'Maniac' Serves Up A Trio Of Blood Stained Stills!

New postby Brian Massey » Thu May 10, 2012 7:39 pm

"Just when the streets seemed safe, a serial killer with a fetish for scalps is back and on the hunt."

As I'm sure some of you may already be aware of, Franck Khalfoun's Maniac remake starring Elijah Wood as the aforementioned serial killer is headed to the upcoming Cannes Film Festival where it will be featured during the "Midnight" selection. But up until now, there has been real image leaks. So without further adieu we present not one but three brand new stills from the film served up fresh on a plate with a bloody scalp - we hope you dig 'em

Maniac is produced by Alexandre Aja and Gregory Lavasseur and co-stars Nora Arnezeder (Safe House).

In the remake, "Frank is the withdrawn owner of a mannequin store, but his life changes when young artist Anna appears asking for his help with her new exhibition. As their friendship develops and Frank's obsession escalates, it becomes clear that she has unleashed a long-repressed compulsion to stalk and kill."
