The Latest Piece Of Sales Art For Tim Burton's 'Frankenweenie' Has Arrived Stateside

New postby Brian Massey » Tue May 29, 2012 10:23 am

Frankenweenie is a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog, told from the mind of one the most eccentric beings in our genre Tim Burton, and today we've managed to get our paws (no pun intended) on a brand new piece of international art for the stop-motion animated film.

In the film, "after unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new “leash on life” can be monstrous."

Winona Ryder (Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands), Catherine O’Hara (Beetlejuice, The Nightmare Before Christmas), Martin Short (Mars Attacks!),Martin Landau (Ed Wood, Sleepy Hollow), Charlie Tahan and Atticus Shaffer all lend their vocal talents to the film.

Look for 'Frankenweenie' to charm audiences on October 5th, 2012.
