We Unload A Bevy Of Hi-Res Stills From The Trailer Of 'Texas Chainsaw 3D'

New postby Brian Massey » Fri Sep 14, 2012 4:21 pm

Yesterday, as I'm sure you are all well aware of, we finally got our first look at the official trailer for Texas Chainsaw 3D. With over 25,000 views thus far on this site alone, the buzz for the seventh incarnation is without a doubt thriving to say the least. So we here at the 'Bid thought it would only be fitting to amplify the hype by offering up a bevy of Hi-Res screen captures from the trailer to give all of us horror hounds a better look at Leatherface and his future victims.

We hope you enjoy this wicked montage filled with violence and angst.

Texas Chainsaw 3D continues the legendary story of the homicidal Sawyer family, picking up where Tobe Hooper’s 1974 horror classic left off in Newt, Texas, where for decades people went missing without a trace. The townspeople long suspected the Sawyer family, owners of a local barbeque pit, were somehow responsible. Their suspicions were finally confirmed one hot summer day when a young woman escaped the Sawyer house following the brutal murders of her four friends. Word around the small town quickly spread, and a vigilante mob of enraged locals surrounded the Sawyer stronghold, burning it to the ground and killing every last member of the family – or so they thought.

Decades later and hundreds of miles away from the original massacre, a young woman named Heather learns that she has inherited a Texas estate from a grandmother she never knew she had. After embarking on a road trip with friends to uncover her roots, she finds she is the sole owner of a lavish, isolated Victorian mansion. But her newfound wealth comes at a price as she stumbles upon a horror that awaits her in the mansion’s dank cellars…

Look for the film to hit theaters on January 4, 2013.

I don't know what to really say about this movie. I don't know why they are contining from the originial when they already made a sequel. Unless somehow this movie will lead up to the original sequel. Maybe where we see Leather Face going into that circus or whatever it was is where it will lead into the original sequel since they are living underground from there. If that makes sense. I think they should've just started it from either The Next Generation or just continue off from the remake. I really liked them all even The Beginning. BUt for this one I'm just not jumping all over it like I thought I would, but I'll see it anyways cause im a horror fan.

Not sure on the costume (what's with the red sweater???) The mask doesn't look bad, but it looks more like the remake than the original mask... I have pretty high hopes for this though!
