Universal Picks Up "Phasma Ex Machina"

Universal is set to remake the independent supernatural thriller "Phasma Ex Machina". Nathan Parker is writing the script while Gary Shore is set to direct. The original was directed by Matt Osterman and told the story of a man who, after the death of his parents, builds a machine to attempt communication with the spirit world, which would explain the title which translates into "Ghost From The Machine". Shore has also been noted as a possible director for James Patterson's Maximum Ride.
