Kinda surprised this one seemed to fly under the radar. Stars of the immensely popular "True Blood" Anna Paquin & Stephen Moyer have announced they are expecting their first child this fall. How this will affect the show remains to be seen. Writers can simply choose to ignore the pregnancy or incorporate it into the show somehow. Having not seen any of it but talking to friends who have, I'm guessing if the show incorporates the pregnancy into its stories, the baby could be human, a vampire, or a werewolf.
Production on the latest season began in November & it's likely Paquin would be 4-6 months pregnant while filming the final episodes. If the show is picked up for a 6th season, production would probably be pushed back by a couple of months yet still potentially air during the summer.
