Vivica A. Fox, Brad Dourif, Innis Casey and Galadriel Stineman square off in the suspense/thriller/horror film "Junkyard Dog" where the deranged owner of a junkyard chooses his 'monthly victims' and holds them captive until it is time for them to die.
I worked as a 'key set p.a.' on this film for five grueling weeks in Fairview, TN. which is located about 30 minutes west of my home in Nashville. The hours were long, the work was hard...for everyone. The reward was worth it.
Los Angeles director Kim Bass penned this story. He was a pleasure to work with as was the rest of the production crew.
As you can imagine, we worked both day and night on this shoot which eventually rendered some of us unaware of what day it even was. Hey, it's part of the job!
Without giving any spoilers, let me just say that horror fans everywhere will enjoy this one as the necessary material for horror is there.
Vivica Fox does a good job as the detective who is on the case, and everyone's favorite, Brad Dourif, charms the screen as the Sheriff who gets involved as well. Innis Casey does a good job as the maniacal killer who is clearly off balance. Galadriel Stineman shines through as the victim who is clearly on the chopping block as she attempts to retain her sanity during her capture.

So grab some popcorn, a cold drink and watch the action unfold as worlds collide in the Kim Bass film...
