Heather Locklear Joins The Cast Of 'Scary Movie 5'

In case Ashley Tisdale, Terry Crews, Marisa Saks, Erica Ash, Lindsay Lohan, Charlie Sheen, Simon Rex, and Molly Shannon weren't enough to sway you into seeing the fifth installment of the Scary Movie franchise, we just learned that 50-year old bombshell Heather Locklear has now joined the aforementioned cast of the film.

According to Bloody-Disgusting, Locklear will play “the mother of a young dancer in a role that is more than inspired by the nightmare mom Barbara Hershey played in ‘Black Swan’.”

David Zucker co-wrote the plot which involves three dancers — one veteran performer and two upstarts who are also best friends — who vie for the lead in a new production from a snooty, aloof, imperious, and oversexed director. Black Swan, Paranormal Activity, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and 127 Hours are among four of films to which the movie will be spoofed around.

Currently Scary Movie 5 is being shot in Atlanta, Georgia and is expected to be released on April 19, 2013.
