"THE STRANGERS" Director to Take the Reigns of "MOCKINGBIRD" - Found Footage Style Film

This is an interesting story because I was listening to The House of Horror Podcast a few weeks ago and heard them talking about director Bryan Bertino, who directed THE STRANGERS. They gave him an honorable mention I believe because he had only did one however he had tons of potential. It looks as if we finally have another film for him to direct.

According to STYD, director Bryan Bertino has signed on for a found-footage thriller, called MOCKINGBIRD. It is being produced by Jason Blum (PARANORMAL ACTIVITY) and filming is expected to begin at the end of February.

MOCKINGBIRD is set to revolve around a couple who receive a video camera with a document of strict instructions. If they don't follow the rules, they're told someone will die. The film will follow their terrifying ordeal as they do what they are told.

This sounds like a found footage SAW film to me but that isn't a bad thing and I can't wait to see what Bertino does with this as I am a big fan of THE STRANGERS.

I am a big fan of the strangers as well and i hope this will turn out well. Sounds like a cool concept, but even the greatest ideas can end up being duds if its not pulled off correctly
