Sad Day for "Night of the Living Dead" Fans; Two Deaths

Truly a sad day for the world of horror & fans of the original "Night of the Living Dead". Yesterday, it was reported that Samuel William Hinzman passed away. He was the first zombie seen in the film & is often referred to as the "Cemetery Zombie". Hinzman is no stranger to the horror world; he had roles in not only the original NOTLD but in "Flesh Eater", "The Crazies", & "Santa Claws".

Hours later, it was reported that another member of the NOTLD family passed away as well. Josephine Streiner also portrayed a zombie in the film. It was also her car that Barbara wrecked while trying to escape the Cemetery Zombie portrayed by Bill Hinzman.
