'Frankensteins Army' Gains A Crazy Nazi Leader - New Cast Member Joins

New postby zombie10 » Mon Mar 12, 2012 4:15 pm

I mean really what's a Frankenstein movie without someone who's alittle mad?

Variey reports actor Karel Roden has been cast as Viktor, the mad Nazi scientist. Roden has appeared in films like Hellboy as the Rasputin and another Guillermo del Toro favorite, Blade 2. Roden joins a cast which already features names like Alexander Mercury, Joshua Sasse, Luke Newberry, Andrei Zayats, Mark Stevenson, Hon Ping Tang, Cristina Catalina, Robert Gwylim and it's still growing apparently.

The film itself "takes place toward the end of World War II, as Russian soldiers push into eastern Germany and stumble across a secret Nazi lab, one that has unearthed and begun experimenting with the journal of one Dr. Viktor Frankenstein. The scientists have used the legendary Frankenstein's work to assemble an army of super-soldiers stitched together from the body parts of their fallen comrades - a desperate Hitler's last ghastly ploy to escape defeat."

It is currently filming under director Richard Raaphort, keep an eye out for any new casting updates!
