Kate Beckinsale Talks Underworld 5

New postby horrorlord » Mon Mar 12, 2012 9:19 pm

While there is no word on Underworld 5, I do have some news that comes straight from Collider.com, who recently spoke to Kate Beckinsale, the star of 3 out of the four installments of the franchise.

When asked if she would be interested in reprising her role as Selene should there be a fifth installment; here's what she had to say: "Part of me thinks that's so peculiar to me.I don't have a background in TV playing the same character for two years in a row so playing the same character over and over again is a bit odd.Iam very fond of the character and other people are very fond her so who knows. There's a part of me that thinks, maybe it's good to blaze a trail to be the menopausal action heroine."

While the first part of the interview had me a bit concerned, Beckinsale gave a good indication by the end of the interview that she is defently interested in doing another sequel, so let's hope with the success of the fourth installment we'll get see Kate Beckinsale, clad in her black leather suit, back in action in the very near future.
