"Hart of Dixie's" Jaime King, who can best be remembered for her roles in My Bloody Valentine and Sin City, has now been cast to play Aubrey Bradimore, a Deputy Sheriff who battles the killer Santa Claus terrorizing her small Midwestern town. She will star alongside Malcolm McDowell and fellow genre veterans Donal Logue (Shark Night 3D), Jamie Kennedy (Scream), Brendan Fehr (Final Destination), Lisa Marie (Sleepy Hollow), and Ellen Wong (Scott Pilgrim vs the World) who have all come aboard in supporting roles.

Silent Night will reteam King with The Genre Company following the Darren Lynn Bousman-directed Mother’s Day. In the film, which is set to be released this May by Anchor Bay Films, King played the role of Beth Sohapi.
Steven C. Miller (The Aggression Scale) will direct the film which will be produced by The Genre Company along with Buffalo Gal Pictures. Media House Capital will co-finance production, set to begin next week in Winnipeg. The project was recently announced by Anchor Bay Films and Inferno Entertainment’s new Ember label.
