The Title For 'The Last Exorcism II' Is Finally Revealed! New Questions Now Arise...

New postby Brian Massey » Fri Apr 20, 2012 7:56 pm

When it was first announced that a sequel to the 2010 $67 Million Dollar grosser The Last Exorcism was forthcoming, the first question on just about everyone's mind was, "I thought that was the last one, what the hell are they gonna call this one...The Next To Last Exorcism?"

But now, thanks to the website "Know The Artist," we learned that the official title for the sequel will be dubbed Beginning of the End – The Last Exorcism II. Check out an image of the actual audition sheet for the film which was posted on the website.

Although it does not reveal too much, the title does seems to suggest that the film will be a prequel rather than a sequel, although earlier reports suggested that the film was set to pick up three months after the original left off. Either way, the audition sheet describes a role in which an outsider must convince her friends to take a fun risk that results in something bad.

Directed by Ed Gass-Donnelly, Beginning of the End – The Last Exorcism II will star Spencer Treat Clark (Gladiator, Unbreakable) and Ashley Bell, reprising her role as the tormented Nell Sweetzer. Production is set in New Orleans, and delivery is expected in late 2012.
