So far a trio of eye candy featuring Jessica Alba, Amber Heard and Michelle Rodriguez have already been hired, along with Danny Trejo who makes his return to star in the Kyle Ward-scripted sequel with series noobs Mel Gibson and Demian Bichir.
Now it's come to our attention that "Modern Family" star and Golden Globes and Emmy nominee Sofia Vergara is in talks to add yet more sizzle to the cast of Rodriguez's upcoming film, which as you can tell by the aforementioned talent is already blazing.

The film, which starts production later this month, finds the titular ex-federale (Trejo) recruited by the U.S. government to take down a cartel leader and stop an arms dealer (Gibson) from launching a deadly missile.
Vergara, who recently appeared in Garry Marshall's "New Year's Eve" and the Farrelly brothers' comedy "The Three Stooges, "will play the leather-clad Madame Desdemona, whose Mexican harlots have information that Machete needs.
