Cyclical Effect is a feature length Drama/Horror film produced by Faux Pas Films, a company based in Nashville, TN.
The story is about Ian who goes through a downward spiral when he loses everything solid in his life. He must try to reinvent himself but he’ll have to go through many trials and tribulations first. His friend Zeke gets a part playing a costumed villain in a play but he dies before he gets a chance to perform it. Afterward, Ian begins to see the costume all over town. Is he just grief stricken or is a real killer using the very costume belonging to Zeke? Meanwhile, Ian and the uncouth Taco start dating women from online dating sites and the experiences they find are very diverse and interesting. So can Ian find the perfect love with a viral girl and get where he needs to be before the costume killer preys on him?
We aren’t going the typical hack and slash costume killer route as we are concentrating heavily on the main characters. It is a drama foremost, laced with comedy and underlying with horror.
