US Distribution For Christmas Slasher SINT!

New postby vbrockladyv » Thu Apr 21, 2011 5:36 pm

IFC Films has announced that it has acquired Dick Maas's (great name) SINT for its IFC Midnight line. No actual release dates have been re;eased yet, but you can expect a theatrical/video-on-demand pattern similar to the company’s other titles.

SINT will be hitting all of the major genre festivals this summer and hopefully will be released just in time for the Christmas season. The quick rundown of the film is that it [b"reimagines the European legend of St. Nicholas (which became transformed into Santa Claus in the States) and turns the beloved figure into a murderous ghoul who terrorizes Amsterdam. ] Personally, I'm a huge fan of SANTA"S SLAY so this will have to really knock it out of the park for me!

For more details and info on SINT's Tribeca screenings, check out this link: http://tinyurl.com/5uu2jso. Now enjoy the trailer....and no, you're not going insane....it's not in English...

Looks interesting, I don't know if I could stand them talking like that the whole movie though
