In an exclusive brought to us by Deadline, it appears that the bearded funny man, Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover) is out and Oscar winner Jeff Bridges, may be in.
The film centers around a police force consisting of a bunch of "undead" officers who work for the R.I.P.D. Recently slain cop, Nick Cruz (Ryan Reynolds), was at the top of his game in his personal and professional career, when an unknown assailant decided to end his life. Cruz joins the force in order to find out who killed him. What he doesn't know is that his search will take him to Hell and back... literally! Based on the Dark Horse comic by Peter Lenkov.
R.I.P.D is slated to be released some time next year.
