Hi Fallon, I'm the guy who sculpted the Magenta Models Rawhead Rex. I Googled it and found your post about you finding a copy. Looks like you got one of the original castings. Build up and paint job look great... base too. If you are interested, you can see some pics of the original sculpture on my website: http://www.alanianson.com/rawheadkit.htm I'm happy that you have enjoyed finding and owning my work. Thank you.

Hey Alan good to hear from you. I actually sent you a email through your website when I first began looking for this Rawhead model kit to see if it was still available. You should make more kits I love your work.

Hey guanfangfang I don't know I tried painting one and I completely sucked at it. I guess it depends how good an artist you are. By the way whats the comment about sticking food up your ass about?

Hey guys been awhile since I posted anything new in this Rawhead Rex section but, I got
something to share with you today. This past Friday I traveled to Dallas for Texas Frightmare
Weekend 2011. I could only go one day because of work. My main objective was to meet
Clive Barker who would be signing there the whole weekend. I took various things to get signed
posters, books, and my Rawhead Rex bust. I stood in line for five hours to see him. It was worth
it when he saw the bust.
One of Clive's helpers saw me outside with the bust and asked if he could take a pic of it. I told
him sure he snapped the pic and returned to the room Clive was in. He later came back out to
me and said Clive was blown away by it and couldn't wait to see it up close. I was excited to get
the chance to show it to him. When he saw it he said he loved it and asked me if I made it my self.
I was in awe of the man but, I explained to Clive that I had commissioned someone to make it for me.
Clive wanted me to let the artist know how impressed he was with his work. I told him the guys name
Jonathan Fuller and his website Monster Asylum.com. Clive had his assistant write down the info.
Clive then asked me why I loved Rawhead so much. I explained to him why and told him I found out
about his work through the film. He told me he always had this vision of Rawhead a puddle of organs
and flesh turned inside out and then when he's unearthed he starts to mutate into his normal form.
Kinda like Frank in the first Hellraiser film. Clive said we should do that when we get to the remake. I
said your doing a remake and Clive smiled and said no. He did say the rights would be reverting back
to him soon though.
He said the only thing that needed work was the hair. I told him I agreed and was thinking of getting
him rehaired. Clive asked me if I had a artist in mind and I told him yeah her name is Laura Lady. He said
for me to give him my contact info that he would love to work with her on the project. He looked at the
Rawhead bust and said he always wanted to incorporate some kind of markings or tattoos on Rawhead to
show his age and that he is the last of his kind. Clive signed the bust and asked me if I would mind I said no
whatever you want to do is fine with me. Clive actually drew a tattoo on my Rawhead bust. It was awesome
man. He then shook my hand and reminded me to leave my contact info. I was so stoked. Here are some pics.
