Although this news which I'm about to present is nothing concrete and more of an idea, nonetheless it is still news, and any news regarding this project is better then no news at all. So let me end my babbling, and share the findings.
According to the website play station lifestyle.net,
Thierry Perreau, Creative Director at Neko Entertainment, revealed on his LinkedIn that he worked on a pitch for a motion controlled game based on the hit slasher movie series Halloween. Perreau has been working as a Game Designer and Concept Designer since September 2005. The LinkedIn page states (translated):[/i]
Halloween (from the film) for the Wii, the Xbox 360 (Kinect) and the PS3 (PS Move)
Is this enough of a reason to get excited? One point to make mention of, is the time frame from which the game could have been pitched by Thierry. Is this something that happened back in 2005 or something that he just brought to the table recently to discuss?
Regardless we want to give out some props to internet user "Supererogatory", for sleuthing this out on the creative designers LinkedIn page.
In closing, we do want to stress that this was only a pitched idea and there’s no knowing whether the game will actually ever be made.
